Last night, the folks from Activision & Tencent announced another installment of Call Of Duty.  But this time, its strictly for smartphones (Android & iOS).  This will be free, of course, w/ in-app purchases and modeled after Black Ops & Modern Warfare franchises.

COD Mobile will bring multiplayer modes like Search & Destroy, Team Deathmatch, & Free-For-All to name a few.  They’re also bringing iconic maps like Nuketown, Crash, Hijacked, and more to the mix as well.  You’ll be able to unlock classic COD characters, weapons, scorestreaks, & gear for your loadouts.  In future updates, they’re looking to bring zombies & more content to the game.

I’m wondering what took them so long to do this.  As COD should’ve been on smartphones for a while now – long before Fortnite & PUBG.  But I guess better late than never.  You can hit the link below to pre-register ahead of its beta due out sometime in the summer.

Who’s looking to shoot it out at Nuketown on the go?
