There have been rumblings about it previously and it is now here. Say hello to the new Apple Powerbeats Pro. The folks over at 9to5Mac gave us this leak based off of the most recent iOS 12.2 update.
These are more or less the Beats version of AirPods.
As you can see, they’re modeled after the Beats Powerbeats 3 but w/ the cords cut off. It will retain the adjustable ear tips + over-the-ear clips to give you the best fit. These are supposed to be armed w/ the new H1 wireless chip to beef up the battery life and add ‘Hey Siri’ support. We see a Lightning port on the back of the case but we’re not sure if it will have any wireless charging abilities.
No word on the official release or any pricing. I wonder if this will be part of Apple’s 2nd wave of surprise announcements. If this becomes real, is this something you would be interested in? Or nah?
