Yesterday, Verizon announced the arrival of their 1st flagship that supports their 5G UWB network: the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G. This is the S10+ on steroids for the most part to handle pulling down gigabit speeds.

To jog your memory, it offers a 6.7inch Infinity-O QHD+ AMOLED display, Snapdragon 855 CPU, 8GB of RAM, 256GB or 512GB of storage, 4 cameras on the rear, and whopping 4500 mAh battery inside. Based on your storage size, it would start at $1,300 or $54.16 monthly.
Now moving onto VZW’s 5G network, it is super limited at its current state. Its only live in select parts of Chicago & Minneapolis as it only covers a small section of the city. VZW is aiming to have it spread to 20-30 more cities by the end of the year. Our buddy George from Verizon got some great speeds of over 1Gbps while out in Chicago yesterday as you can see full speed test above.
So while the phone appears to look and run amazing, its gonna be a while before you can take full advantage of it – depending where you live. But for those of you who’re still interested, you can order yours via the link below.
