So earlier this week, we were out in NYC for the official launch of a new product. That turned out to be new speakers form our friends over at Como Audio. Instead of just a single product like the previous years, the dropped the SpeakEasy. This is their solution for a true stereo audio experience on a pair of smart speakers.
So the speakers offer a stereo amp inside w/ 25-watts per channel, powering the smarts is Google Assistant built-in, self-adjusting brightness display for clocks & alarms, Bluetooth 4.2, and a 2200 mAh battery inside quoted at around 8 hours of juice. BTW, Giving you a true Hi-Fi stereo sound where ever you place this in your home. It also supports audio codecs like HE-AAC, LC-AAC, CELT/Opus, MP3, Vorbis, Wav, and FLAC.
And to go long w/ the new speakers system, it something slightly different. Como Audio now has their very own streaming turntable. This is belt-driven and can stream records across your home. The Turntable offers a 12inch diameter, heavy steel platter, Ortofon magnetic cartridge, aluminum arm, slip mat, and speed for both 33 & 45BPMs.
We got a chance to hear how it all sounds and no surprise, its sounds really sublime. Currently this is an Indiegogo project and they’re already over 60% of their goal. You can contribute to secure yours at the link below.
