So we told you it was coming but they somewhat made it official. We now have a new updated version of the Nintendo Switch on the way.
The update console will offer a very notable boost in battery life as it goes from 2 and a half to 6 and a half hours up to 4 and half to 9 hours of juice on a single charge. No word on exactly when it will arrive here in the US. Be on the lookout for it as the only way you can really tell the difference between this one and the older one is a serial number. The new Switch has a serial number that starts w/ a XKW and HAC-001(-01) model number. The new box will look like this:
Nintendo dropped the Switch Lite last week and now this one. I’m not sure why they didn’t announce both last week. You can see the difference between all 3 of the Switch devices here.
