Apple had more hardware to update today as well.   This time around, we got their smartwatch getting some new goodies.  We weren’t sure if it would be an addition to the Series 4 or a new watch but now we know it is the latter.

Meet the Apple Watch Series 5: adding onto the great things Apple did w/ the Series 4 smartwatch.  So now you have Always-On display option to keep your watchface lit at all times.  You now have a built-in compass to enhance your navigation when using it.  There’s now cycle-tracking for those of you who bike or frequent spinning class to better track your movements.  And last but not least, you got the addition of Ceramic or Titanium finishes joining Aluminum + Stainless Steel.

The Apple Watch Series 5 will launch running the latest watchOS 6 and tout an up to 18-hour battery life as well.  The pricing remains the same as it starts at $399 for the GPS only model and $479 for the GPS + LTE model.   You’ll be able to pick yours up on September 20th.

Are you ditching your older Apple Watch for this one?
