Even though we’re just getting started into 2020 and CES hasn’t officially kicked off yet, we’re already getting leaks on phones set to arrive later this year.  The focus here is the newest from LG: the upcoming G9.  Not sure of it will carry the ThinQ branding behind it or not.

I’ll admit that if this is in fact the G9, the design is definitely dated.  Like something OnePlus would have designed a few years back.  Anyways, the images and CAD render video, courtesy of CashKaro x OnLeaks, shows off a bit of a dated notch, a headphone jack w/ more than likely a DAC inside, and retaining the dedicated Google Assistant button under the volume rocker.

The internals aren’t clear yet but we can expect the latest Snapdragon 865 CPU, at least 6GB of RAM, 128GB of expandable storage, and possibly an OLED panel.  No word on whether or not the Air Motion or Hand ID will carry over tot he G9.  But the smaller notch might declare it no go.

Nothing as of yet on pricing or release details.  Regardless, I’m still looking forward to see what LG brings to the table for 2019.  They do offer cool features that other companies take and improve on.  Its been the case for years now.

Anybody waiting for the LG G9?

Cash Karo
