Are you enjoying your 4K QLED TV from Samsung but wanted more pixels, more power, and less bezels?  Well if you did, Samsung heard you loud and clear.   They announced something you might have been looking for at CES.  Specifically, their 2020 QLED 8K TV.

So for starters, you see the damn-near extinct bezel on this thing – looking like a floating piece of glass.  The new QLED is using 99% of its display and leaves 1% for the bezel w/ a 15mm thin profile as well.

Inside, you got AI-powered upscaling to get content to or close to native 8K resolution, new AI ScaleNet technology to prevent data loss during streaming from a company’s server to your TV, Adaptive Screen to adjust the brightness to complement the light in the room, new Object Tracking Sound Plus feature that can hone in on moving subjects and move the sound across the speakers the same way, supports Bixby as well as Alexa + Google Assistant, Samsung Health TV app, and a new Digital Butler feature that can control your smart & non-smart gadgets into one central hub on your TV.

This new 8K QLED is due out sometime this year in 65inch, 75inch, & 85inch options.  This sounds like the next wave of Tv to get.  Now all we need is the pricing and more actual 8K content to watch on this thing.
