Even though Samsung just made the Galaxy S10 Lite + Note 10 Lite official, they’re just getting started for 2020.  So on Friday evening, the teaser trailer for the Unpacked Galaxy S11 announcement leaked.  Last night, Samsung decided to get in front of it and make it official by sending out invites.

So on February 11th in San Francisco, Samsung will unveil their new Galaxy S- line flagship.  So we’re expecting the Galaxy S11 but there are quite the conflicting rumors about the name and how many versions will be announced.  It may be called the S11 or Samsung might skip a bunch of numbers and call it the S20 to line up w/ the year.

Whatever it will be called, it is said to offer some much-wanted features.  We’re hearing about a 120Hz display, Snapdragon 865 CPU, a 5-camera setup on the rear w/ a 108MP main sensor as the star of the show, which would be capable of 8K video (maybe), and Qualcomm’s larger and faster in-display fingerprint reader.

Now onto the shaky rumors.  What would be the S11e will be the S20, the standard S11 will be the S20+, and the S11 Plus will be the S20 Ultra.  The Ultra will support 5G speeds while the other 2 will offer additional 5G models.  We may get the unveil for the Galaxy Fold clamshell device as well as new Galaxy Buds.

We got our invite but not sure if we’ll be in attendance.  I doubt it though.  Who’s excited to see what Samsung will show off next month?
