Last week admist all of the CES madness, Samsung revealed the new Galaxy XCover Pro.  This is supposed to be the new take on rugged vision for the Galaxy.  Earlier today, they revealed that it will make its way to the US.  

Meet the take on the Galaxy Active.

The new Galaxy XCover Pro is armed w/ specs familiar to their Active line of rugged phones.  It has a 6.3inch FHD+ display w/ support for Wet Touch + Glove Mode, powered by their Exynos 9611 CPU, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage expandable up to 512GB via microSD, IP68 rugged body, side-mounted fingerprint reader like on the S10e, running Android 10, utilizing Google’s AR Core app, a f/2.0 13MP selfie camera + dual rear f/1.7 25MP + f/2.2 8MP cameras, and a removable 4050 mAh battery w/ 15W fast-charging.  

The cool thing about it is that it supports a mobile POS (point of sale) for making payments, using fulfillment centers, and more.  The XCover Pro is set to arrive sometime in the later half of 2020 coming to Verizon for $499.
