So Ultimate Ears are known for making probably the best Bluetooth speakers on the market.  Their latest endeavor wants to step things up a notch.  Their new HyperBoom speaker wants to retain all of the good things you know and love about their other speakers and add even more sound to it.

So the HyperBoom is obviously larger than the rest of UE’s lineup.  Its more like having 2 speakers inside one package.  That is because it houses 2 1inch tweeters, dual 4.5inch woofers and 2 large 3.5inch passive radiators for bass to crank out up to 11 decibels of sound.  You got a rectangle shape over the usual cylinder one which pumps out 270-degrees of sound rather than 360-degrees.  However, its still IPX4 water-resistant  to handle spills and such.

On the top, you got 2 volume buttons, a 4-way circular pad for playback and switching inputs.  Speaking of inputs, you got several like a 3.5mm jack, a USB, an AUX, and optical for support to gaming consoles and TVs as well.  On the Bluetooth side of things, you can connect up to 2 devices at once as well as pair w/ other members of the UE family via their UE Boom app.  All of this w/ a 24-hour battery life at half volume and  a measly 3 hours w/ everything maxed out.  Also, w/ it having a large battery, you can charge your phone or tablet w/ it as well via USB.

The HyperBoom weighs in at 13lbs and offers a handle to carry it around w/ you.  It will be available on March 3rd for $399 and only comes in Black currently.

Will you be giving this shot to power your next party?
