The last piece of the puzzle for probably the most-anticipated streaming service yet has been revealed.  We have an official date for the launch of HBO Max.  It was said that late May was the window but May 27th is the real date.

HBO Max is claiming to have up to 10,000 hours of content by launch w/ their deep library of HBO & Warner Bros originals/content.  But due to the Covid-19 putting Hollywood on hold, the list of originals ready at that time has shrunk.

However, there will be a good 6 originals available at launch w/ Love Life, a comedy starring Anna Kendrick; On the Record, a Sundance documentary; Legendary, a series about an underground ballroom dance competition; Craftopia, hosted by YouTube’s LaurDIY; the new Looney Tunes Cartoons; and Sesame Workshop’s The Not Too Late Show.

And don’t forget that HBO Max will be the exclusive home for Friends as well as The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air and many more.  If you’re an HBO Now subscriber or an HBO subscriber on AT&T or AT&T video/U-Verse/DirecTV subscribers, you’ll get HBO Max for free.

Is this the last subscription service you’ll subscribe to?  This might the last one for me.
