Even w/ V60 out ahead of the G9 and everything going on in the world. LG is still looking to the future.  In a press release last night, they showed off some sketches teasing their new design language for a new phone – possibly the G series for 2020.

The new look is pushed on 2 different front of the design.  LG is adding more curves into the mix w/ what they’re calling 3D Arc Design.  This will curve both the display edges as well as the back of the device to be more comfortable when holding.  Next up, is a alternative setup for the rear camera modules.  They’re calling it a Raindrop camera design that puts the main sensor on top of 2 smaller sensors and the flash.  The main sensor would sit outside of the rear surface slightly while the other sensors would be flush.  All meant to resemble falling raindrops.

So it looks like LG is finally looking to spice things up w/ their look a bit.  They’ve been in this standard look for quite a while now.  So I am ready for something fresh from them.  How about you?
