Last week, LG dropped a press release showing off sketches for a new line of smartphones. Yesterday, they dropped another release showing off the new name to go along w/ it. Meet the LG Velvet.
The new Velvet design brings forth their new Raindrop camera design w/ a large main camera lens followed by 2 smaller lenses + an LED flash, a new 3D arc design w/ curved glass on the front + back. It is rumored to be on the more affordable side of things powered by a mid-range Snapdragon 765 CPU w/ 5G.
Twitter leaker Ice Universe shared some possible renders of what the final version could look like. Despite resembling Sony phones from the rear, I do like the new visual approach LG is taking w/ this brand thus far. I’m curious to see what the finished product will look like. How about you?
