After yesterday’s pretty big leak, the latest from Motorola is now official. Meet the Motorola Edge+. This is their new high-end flagship that is a culmination of features, technologies out in the market. Let’s get into all that it can do.
The Edge+ offers a 6.7inch OLED 1080p display w/ 90Hz refresh rate, powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 CPU, 12GB of RAM, 256GB of UFS storage, 3.5mm headphone jack w/ audio tuning by Waves, powerful stereo speakers, fingerprint reader, Bluetooth 5.1, Android 10 w/ My UX, a 5000 mAh battery w/ fast wired & wireless charging. Oh and did we mention that it has 5G support for both mmW and sub-6GHz as well.
Now moving onto the camera side of things, Moto gave this thing a triple camera setup on the rear. The main sensor is a f/1.8 108MP one w/ binning to 27MP, a f/2.2 16MP ultra-wide w/ 117-degree field of view, and a f/2.4 8MP telephoto w/ OIS. You’ll be able to shoot up to 6K @30fps as well as 1080p slow-motion @120fps. The selfie camera is a 25MP BTW.
The Motorola Edge+ will be a Verizon exclusive and dropping on May 14th. It will does have a flagship price of $999 at full retail pricing or $41.66 per month for 24-months. Also, more trade-in and promos as Verizon have a bunch of them seen below:
- Customers who get a new line of service on select Unlimited plans can save up to $550 on a new Motorola edge+ with an applicable trade-in.
- Additionally, customers who switch from another carrier to a select Verizon Unlimited plan get a $150 Verizon e-gift card for a total savings of up to $700. Plus get a Verizon Stream TV, an Amazon Echo Dot and smart plug on us.
- Current Verizon customers on select Unlimited plans can save up to $250 on a new Motorola edge+ with an applicable trade-in when you upgrade.
- Verizon Unlimited customers also get 12 months of free Disney+ service.
