Earlier this morning, the Apple rumor mill got some leaks which appear to be concrete on the upcoming iPhone 12 line.  This also lines up w/ the way Apple moves in regards to putting future features on their other devices before the new iPhone.

Based on a tweet from Choco_Bit over on Twitter which has been corroborated by several sources, they recently put a LiDAR sensor within their latest iPad Pro which just launched.  And it appears to be making its way to the Pro line of the iPhone 12.  This would make for better AR abilities.  And this would be in addition to the triple camera array of a Wide angle, Ultra Wide angle, and Telephoto lenses.  They would also have to move the flash around to make it fit within their current camera module.

From FrontPageTech

As far as the rest of the iPhone 12 lineup, the folks over at FrontPageTech got an image of how they will literally lineup against each other.  This is based off of finalized prototypes which would give us not 3 but 4 phones this year.  The regular iPhone 12 would bring us a smaller 5.4inch and a 6.1inch models comprised of an aluminum body and dual cameras.   While the Pro line would give us a 6.1inch and a 6.7inch models comprised of a stainless steel body and 3 cameras + LiDAR.  All of iPhone 12 models will offer 5G support BTW so they would be ready for the future.

So nothing crazy new here on the hardware front but we still gotta wait to see what new comes our way software -wise via iOS 14.  We’ll see if Apple can get these phones out before the end of the year since everything has been seriously delayed.

So there you have it for now.  Which one of these would you be interested in?
