Well, Apple continues to Beyonce drop their new products this year and we got another one today. Say hello to the newest 13inch MacBook Pro w/ their new-and-improved Magic Keyboard from the 16inch MacBook Pro line.
This ditches the divisive butterfly switches for an improved scissor switches from previous Macbook Pros. Along w/ this, we get the usual spec bump w/ 10th-gen Intel processors, RAM up to 32GB, storage up to 4TB, and new Iris GPU support for the Pro Display XDR @full 6K resolution. Outside of that, you got the same 2 or 4 Thunderbolt 3/USB-C ports, headphone jack, Touch Bar, and Touch ID fingerprint reader.
The base model now comes w/ an older Intel CPU, 8GB of RAM, & 256GB of storage that starts at $1,299. Upgrading to 16GB of RAM will add $100 to the mix instead of the $200 it once was. Educators/education customers can save $100 off as well. The new 13inch Macbook Pro is out today and will arrive in select Apple Stores & authorized resellers later this week.
Not sure if this means no miniLED 14inch MacBook Pro coming or we’ll have to wait for it.
