Since OnePlus pricing have been creeping up over the past few launches, rumors have it that they’re going to resurrect their short-lived budget line.  But instead of the OnePlus X from 2015, it will be called the OnePlus Z and will act as a OnePlus 8 Lite or sorts.

So the OnePlus Z is said to offer 5G support using the same CPU that is supposed to be powering the upcoming Pixel 5: the Snapdragon 765 processor.  Along w/ that it supposed to have a 90Hz display, 8GB of RAM, up to 256GB of storage, a dual camera setup on the rear, a top-centered holepunch selfie camera on the front, and a 4000mAh battery w/ 30W charging.

Previous rumors have it set for a July launch but not sure if any of that will change due to the coronavirus putting a damper on things.  But if more leaks keep coming on it, then it might be safe to assume that its already done and waiting in the wing to be released.

If the OnePlus Z is at $399 or $499 price point, would you pick this one up?
