Damn-near everyone’s favorite skating game, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater, is getting remastered thanks to the folks over at Activision. They’re bringing both Pro Skater 1 and 2 to the mix w/ their original levels, pro skaters, & tricks from the games.
This will bring forth HDR lighting and 4K resolution for the PS4 Pro, Xbox One X, & supported PCs w/ faster reloads as well. It will also give you local split screen, online multiplayer modes, Create-A-Park & Create-A-Skater modes that will allow you to share your custom parks w/ friends who can remix the levels. The roster of skaters includes Tony Hawk, Bucky Lasek, Steve Caballero, Geoff Rowley, Andrew Reynolds, Elissa Steamer, Chad Muska, Eric Koston, Rodney Mullen, Rune Glifberg, Kareem Campbell, Jamie Thomas, and Bob Burnquist BTW.
Both Pro Skater 1 and 2 will launch as one game on September 4th for $40. The digital deluxe version w/ content + in-game gear for $50 and the collector’s edition is coming to $100. Those of you who pre-order a digital copy will get a playable demo of the game before September.
