Things have been quiet on Sony’s end in regards to the new flagship headphones we’re all waiting for: the WH-1000XM4s.  Today we got some more details and a sort of a 1st look on what they will look like.

Spoiler alert as you can see from the image above, it relatively looks the same but will have a few new tricks up its sleeve.  It will retain the same amazing noise-canceling abilities, fast-charging, touchpad controls, and their high-end LDAC sound profile.  This bit of news comes courtesy from the folks over at Android Police spotted a listing for it over at Walmart so the launch could be coming soon.

What’s new are a few new features: the ability to connect to 2 devices at once,  anew custom Adaptive Sound Control, 5 mics for better signal processing to pick up your voice better,  and new AI features to enhance compress music for better audio quality.  Both are most definitely welcomed additions to an already amazing pair of headphones.

The retail pricing is set to remain the same as well w/ a $348 price tag attached to it.  Definitely looking forward to checking them out when they officially launch.

Are you looking forward to checking them out or did you need more updates?
