Earlier today, Google confirmed a big update coming to Gmail that was leaked earlier today. This will bring some of Google’s other apps/features to Gmail by adding Google Chat & Meet will soon be integrated into the app to make it your central communication hub.
You will even see more Drive integration as well so you can easily access files when on Chat or Meet. This will spill into the Gmail app for Android and iOS. The bottom of the app will show the different tabs of Mail, Chat, Rooms, & Meet. Google is definitely making things look very interesting for those who heavily utilize all of these apps.
The new-and-improved Gmail is set to arrive in the following weeks for G Suite customers. For those of you interested, you can sign up for it here to get in.
