For those of you search for a new Android TV dongle, this might be the one for you. Earlier this morning, Xiaomi unveiled their latest Mi TV Stick for those of you on a budget.
The Mi TV Stick offers 1080p streaming, will be powered by a quad-core CPU, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, support for both Dolby + DTS surround sound, Google Assistant + Chromecast, and includes a Bluetooth remote w/ dedicated buttons for Amazon Prime Video, Google Assistant, & Netflix. For those of you wondering about other apps, you will be able to access the Google Play Store for more streaming options like HBO Max, Disney+, Hulu, and many more.
This is made to go head-to-head w/ devices like the Chromecast & Roku Express. No word as of yet on US availability but I would be surprised if it don’t make it here in the states.
