Now that we got HBO Max for a few months now, its time for another one out now. This one is courtesy of NBC Universal to be exact. Now we told you about Peacock at the top of this year, it launched early for Comcast users in April, and yesterday is launched for everyone.
To recap, Peacock is NBC’s streaming service that offers 3 tiers of Free, Premium, & Premium Plus w/ over 7,500 hours of content. As far as what kind of content you can expect on the service? Look for 30 Rock, Parks & Rec, Below Deck, Downtown Abbey, SNL, Fallon Tonight, Yellowstone, Premier League Soccer, news from MSNBC/CNBC/E! News/NBC News, and films from DreamWorks, Universal, & Focus Features.
So the free version of Peacock gives you hours of content w/ ads of course, The Premium tier for $5 monthly offers everything the free one but adds full access to kids shows, original Peacock shows, live sports including soccer, next-day access to NBC shows, and more blockbuster films – all w/ ads still. And the Premium Plus for $10 monthly gives you everything Premium does but ad-free and will add the ability to watch offline.
Peacock TV is available on almost all platforms, including Android, Android TV, Apple TV, iPhones, and Xbox One. The interesting part of Peacock is the free option isn’t really available on any other streaming platform. If you’re interested in the Premium + Premium Plus tiers, there is a 7-day free trial. Android users can get 90 days of Peacock Premium for just signing up for a free account via the app within the Play Store. You will need a credit card on file in order to take advantage of this.
