Now we’re about a week and a day away from Samsung’s 2nd big show of the year: the Note Unpacked eventIt is happening on August 5th and we’re expecting the Note 20 lineup of devices along w/ a few other devices.  We do have a good idea of what to expect from Samsung on that day.

Here is everything that we know thus far:

Now we’re looking at 2 different versions of the Note line w/ the ‘basic’ or standard Galaxy Note 20 and the Galaxy Note 20 ultra.  Kicking things off w/ the regular Note 20, we got a 6.7inch 1080p Super AMOLED panel w/ a standard 60Hz display,  a Snapdragon 865 CPU, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage w/o microSD support, 3 cameras on the rear w/ a 12MP wide/12MP ultra-wide/64MP telephoto sensors, the S pen, and a 4300 mAh battery.

Meanwhile the top-tier version w/ the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, you get the best of the best as it compares to the Galaxy S20 Ultra.  The Note 20 Ultra offers a 6.9inch QHD 120Hz display, powered by Snapdragon 865 CPU, 12GB of RAM, 256GB or 512GB of storage, a triple camera setup (w/ a 108MP main sensor, 13MP telephoto, & 12MP ultra-wide), S Pen, and at least a 4500 mAh battery.  The new S Pen will offer a new pointer feature, more ways to control your phone remotely, and faster latency (even faster latency on the Note 20 Ultra).

Now we were unsure if they were going to unveil it or not but it looks like it is.  We can expect the Galaxy Z Fold 2 to be revealed as well.  It is said to have a larger 8inch display covered by ultra-thin glass, Snapdragon 865 CPU, include a massive 108MP camera, a smaller hole punch selfie camera, 5G support, and add an S Pen to the mix.  It will be unveiled at the event but it won’t be available until sometime in October – allegedly.

We know their next-gen smartwatch is coming w/ the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 is coming.  It is said to arrive in a 41mm & 45mm sizes as well as Wi-Fi-only and LTE variants.  You’ll get a 1.2inch AMOLED display (41mm) + 1.4inch AMOLED display (45mm) – both w/ a slimmer rotating bezel + Gorilla Glass DX protection, 2 physical buttons on the right, 8GB of internal storage, running Tizen software, ECG, and IP68 water/dust resistance.

Gotta expect more tablets w/ the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 & S7+.  The S7 has a 11inch 120Hz refresh rate LCD panel w/ 2560 x 1600 resolution.  While the S7+ has a 12.4inch Super AMOLED 120Hz refresh rate panel w/ 2800 x 1752 resolution.  The S7 will offer a 7040 mAh battery while the S7+ will offer a in-display fingerprint reader and a 10,090 mAh battery.  Both tablets will offer a Snapdragon 865+ CPU, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, stereo speakers, 5G support, S Pen, and a 13MP + 5MP dual cameras.

And last but not least, a new pair of earbuds from Samsung.  Enter the Galaxy Buds Live aka the beanpods.  We got 12mm drivers tuned by AKG, ANC on-board, 3 mics for taking calls, touch controls, a 4.5-hour battery life that can be charged up to 20 hours via their case.  The companion app will add the ability to customize EQ + ANC levels as well as the Find My Earbuds feature.  These are rumored to have a $169 price point.

We’re not sure if we’ll ever see the Galaxy Home or the Galaxy Home Mini anymore.  But next week could be the time to give them an actual release date for it or them.  That’s about it.

Which device are you looking forward to?
