Nintendo has been selling plenty of their Switch consoles since they launched back in March 2017.  Since then, we got the Switch Lite and mild update w/ slightly better processor + battery lifeThere have been plenty of rumors of an upgraded version being upon the horizon and sounds like they’re starting back up again.

According to the folks over at Bloomberg, they’re looking to better compete against the next-gen consoles from Microsoft & Sony – spec-wise at least.  The forthcoming upgrade to the Switch would offer 4K graphics as well as more computing power.  This bump in hardware would come w/ a stronger lineup of games – from Nintendo themselves & major game studios.

Now there’s nothing wrong w/ the current models, outside of being hard to find right now.  But this bump would be a welcome addition to the newer version of the console.  Just as long as the battery doesn’t take a hit and become worse.

What’re your thoughts on a 4K Switch due out next year?
