Microsoft revealed when pre-orders go live for their next-gen consoles: the Xbox Series X & the Xbox Series S.  This will hopefully be the opposite of how Sony handled their PS5 pre-orders which was bad.  However, I did manage to score one via Amazon though.

On September 22nd at 11AM EST/8AM PST, you’ll be able to reserve yours from Amazon, Best Buy, Costco, Gamestop, Microsoft, Newegg, Sam’s Club, Target, & Walmart.  You’ll also be able to grab one via the Army & Airforce Exchange Service as well.  The Series X will cost you $500 while the Series S will cost you $300.

Unlike Sony, Microsoft has their All Access payment plan that gives you the Series S for $25 per month + the Series X for $35 per month for 24 months – which includes Game Pass Ultimate for 2 years as well.  So at least you got options in case you can’t swing the cost of the consoles in full.

So hopefully this will play out better than the PS5 pre-orders.  Are you picking one up & if so which one?
