Now that we know everything about the Xbox Series S, Microsoft made sure to share the pricing + availability on the Series X earlier today. Everything lined up w/ the leaks & rumors.
The Series X costing $500 & dropping on November 10th w/ pre-orders happening on September 22nd. But that’s not all, both the Series S & the Series X will be available via Xbox All Access as well. You can get the Series S for $25 per month & the Series X for $35 per month.
Both includes no upfront cost & Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. The subscription plan & console payment will last for 24 months. Also EA Play comes w/ Game Pass at no additional cost which includes more than 60 of their titles like FIFA 20, Titanfall 2, Need For Speed Heat, & more.
In regards to the difference between the 2 consoles, its mainly 4K vs 2K gaming. Outside of that, the Series X have a optical drive while the Series S does not & will be an all-digital console. While the X will ship w/ a 512GB SSD storage vs the S having a 1TB SSD storage size. Other than that, the X has slightly higher clockspeed in the same CPU, slightly less RAM, less teraflops of GPU-processing power.
