In case you thought Sony was done for the year, you thought wrong.  Yesterday, they announced an upcoming event for another camera.  So expect another shooter or 2 coming for 2020 past the already-beloved A7S III.

So Sony is unveiling something or somethings coming on September 14th @ 9PM EST/6PM PST.  The announcement cover says a new concept is coming.  The concept is said to be the Sony A7c: an entry-level full-frame mirrorless camera.  The latest details about what might be coming arrives from the folks over at Sony Alpha Rumors.

So the A7c is said to come w/ a 24MP full-frame sensor, a fully articulating screen + their latest auto-focus algorithm from the A7S III, can shoot 4K@30fps video, IBIS (in-body image stabilization), the newer NP-FZ100 batteries, a single SD card slot, a built-in mic + headphone jack, and can be charged via USB-C.  All of this within a body slightly larger than the a6600 camera w/ an EVF in the corner.

Well, we got less than week  to see what Sony has to show off.  I’m just curious to see what the concept part of this upcoming shooter.  We’ll see.
