So earlier today, Google made their rumored new Nest thermostat official.  This will have a $129 price tag on it as it would be their most affordable smart thermostat to date thus far.

The new Nest Thermostat offers cool features like Quick Schedule that lets you set a custom temperature at different times/different days, Savings Finder that always looks for small ways to optimize + save energy via the Home app, and uses Soli technology for motion sensing as well as checking your phone’s location to set an Eco temp to avoid wasting energy.

Like the previous models, this will take around 30 minutes to setup and will work for 85% of households.  It will include a 1-year warranty despite the 2-year one the others comes with.  However, this won’t work w/ the Nest Temperature Sensor though.

The new Nest Thermostat will arrive in Snow, Charcoal, Sand, & Fog color options for $129 w/ matching trim kits for an extra $15.  The trim kits will helps cover up the mess your old one made when removing it.  You can pre-order yours today as it is expected to arrive in coming weeks.

Will you be picking this one up to add to you’re home?
