Earlier today, OnePlus made their newest smartphone official w/ the OnePlus 8T. For the most part, it looks like the previous models but adds a new rear camera housing & continues to beef up the internals.
The 8T offers a 6.5inch 1080p AMOLED display w/ 120Hz refresh rate, powered by a Snapdragon 865 CPU, up to 12GB of DDR4 RAM, up to 256GB of UFS3.1 storage, running Android 11 w/ Oxygen OS 11, in-display fingerprint reader, stereo speakers, and a 4500 mAh battery w/ 65W fast charging that gives you a full charge in 39 minutes.
As far as cameras, you got a quad sensor setup on the rear. This gives you a f/1.7 48MP main sensor w/ OIS + EIS, a f/2.2 16MP ultra-wide sensor, a 5MP macro sensor, & a 2MP monochrome sensor. You got a dual LED flash as well as capable of recording 4K + 1080p up to 60fps and Slow-Motion in 1080p up to 240fps. And last but not least, on the front camera. You got a f/2.4 16MP handling the duties on that end.
The OnePlus 8T supports 5G as well but only sub-6GHz and not mmWave. However, T-Mobile will offer their own variant called the OnePlus 8T + 5G as theirs adds IP68 dust/water-resistance. Pre-orders are available now as it will ship on October 23rd. Pricing starts at $749 & will arrive in Aquamarine Green or Lunar Silver color options.
