Yesterday, Canon unveiled their newest version of their smaller M50 shooter w/ the Mk II.  This newer model beefs up the internals as well as its features for better videos, vlogging, & livestreaming.

The EOS M50 Mk 11 offers a 24.1MP sensor, powered by their DIGIC 8 image processor, armed w/ Canon’s Dual Pixel AF + Eye Detection AF, ISO 100-25,600, capable of 4K @24fps/1080p up to 120fps, OLED electronic viewfinder, flip-out touchscreen LCD display, can easily shoot vertical video, and can be used as a webcam via Canon’s software.  We almost forgot to mention the addition to tap the LCD screen to autofocus while looking through the EVF as well as YouTube Live feature built in.  That’s always helpful.

So the EOS M50 Mk II will cost you $600 or so for the just the body and $700 w/ the f/3.5 – 6.3 15-45mm kit lens.  It is available now for pre-order will start shipping sometime in late November.
