We already got the new iPads, Apple Watches, & was waiting for the iPhones. After being delayed due to the pandemic, Apple finally announced their event for new iPhone 12. So we have the time & date of October 13th @10AM PST/1PM EST.
So we’re expecting 5G OLED iPhones from Apple. Not 3 this time for but 4 iPhones for 2020. So we have the entry-level 5.4inch iPhone 12 mini, the standard 6.1inch iPhone 12, the 6.1inch iPhone 12 Pro, & the 6.7inch iPhone 12 Pro Max. Rumors have the Pro models not getting 120Hz refresh rate this year but we’ll see next week. However, many models will get a boost in storage starting at 128GB for base size. All models will support both forms of 5G (mmWave & sub 6GHz) but you can expect the Verizon supported 5G models to be in lower quantity.
Apple is turning up for 2020 while not expecting to have a charger or headphones inside this go round to reduce e-waste. We could also see Apple’s tile tracking alternatives called Tags, their 1st set of over-the-ear headphones dubbed the AirPods Studio, & finally a smaller version of the Homepod.
