So Apple had more to share w/ us than just their new processor as they have their new Macs powered by the M1 CPU ready as well. The 1st wave of the newer Apple computers come in the way of a new MacBook Air, a 13inch MacBook Pro, & a Mac Mini.
So kicking things off is their new Air laptop. This is a new 13.3inch model w/ 2560 x 1600 Retina display w/ P3 wide color gamut + 400 nits of brightness, up to 16GB of RAM + up to 2TB of storage, Touch ID, Bluetooth 5.0, 2 UBS-C ports, a headphone jack, and up to 18 hour-battery life. The new Air starts at $999 for 8GB of RAM + 256GB of storage.
Next up, we got the 13inch MacBook Pro w/TouchBar + Touch ID, touting up to 20 hours of battery life, arriving in several configuration options of 8 or 16GB of RAM along w/ 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, or 2TB SSD options. The new 13inch Pro will start at $1,299 w/ pre-orders kicking off today + launching on November 17th.
And last but not least, we got the new Mac Mini. The new model will offer up to 16GB of RAM, up to 2TB SSD, support up to 2 external monitors including a 6K display, Thunderbolt, and USB 4. All starting at $100 cheaper at $699 for it.
