Earlier this week, GM changed their logo to better represent the EV future and showed off some cool things they’re working on.  One of those things was what they describe as ultra luxury electric show vehicle: the Cadillac Celestiq EV.

The Celestiq will offer an all-wheel drive, four-wheel steering driving experience within an EV.  This will bring some cool features like panoramic glass roof that acts like a 4 quadrant smart glass w/ each of their own level of transparency to tint.  Along w/ that is a massive pillar-to-pillar infotainment touchscreen (they didn’t share the size) w/ a high pixel density.  And with all of that, we can expect to offer GM’s Super Cruise which is their hands-free advanced driving assisting system.

This will be one of the many new vehicles under their Ultium platform that consists of a modular battery setup & drive unit combos that is flexible enough to utilize in a variety of EVs (from sedans to SUVs to pickup trucks).  This will help bring a variety of EVs to the market under the GM branding.

That’s really all that they shared w/ everyone.  No word on how fast it can go or what other bells & whistles will come along w/ it.  With it being mentioned as an ultra-luxury EV, I expect it to a pricey one.
