Earlier today, Fujifilm announced a new compact mirrorless camera w/ interchangeable lens: the X-E4. This is actually thinner than the previous X-E3 from 2017. This is apart of Fujifilm’s rangefinder-style design w/ an optical viewfinder.
The new X-E4 offers a 26.1MP X-Trans CMOS4 sensor, fast auto-focus w/ added Face/Eye detection technology as fast as 0.02 seconds, amazing color science from the professional X series, a tilting monitor that can flip up 180-degrees and dedicated dials for shutter speed + exposure. You can get 6K oversampled to 4K@30fps via SD cards + 4K@30fps at 4:2:2 10-bit via HDMI port. There’s even slow-motion in 1080p up to 240fps BTW. All within a classic design w/ a durable magnesium top plate in an 0.80lb body.
The new X-E4 will drop in march for $850 for the body-only in either Black or Silver color options. Or grab it w/ their new f/2.8 27mm Fujifilm pancake lens w/ a weather-resistant + aperture ring for $1,050 kit. The lens itself will drop in March as well for $400.
