Many of these bigger tech companies are doing what they can and/or making adjustments to handle customer privacy. Today, Google announced a new way to handle it w/ a new Guest Mode feature for their smart speakers & displays.
So the new Guest Mode will allow other users to utilize smart devices w/o accessing your personal info as well as keeping it from being displayed. Your guests will still be able to do the many things you can do on a Google smart display/speaker like play media, set timers, & Google things. Things like calendar events, contacts, & more can’t get accessed by guests.
While its not quite Incognito mode as your guest can just turn the feature off by simply saying it, its a start – I guess. So its not rolling out over the next few weeks as its available now. You can just ‘Hey Google, turn on Guest Mode.’
