Samsung is kicking off some new announcements ahead of CES 2021 kicking off next week. One of them is the sequel to their premium Chrome OS laptop w/ the Galaxy Chromebook 2.
This one will be cheaper that the $1,000 Chromebook the original one was but still retains the Red color option. You can expect a 13.3inch QLED 1080p touchscreen display, powered by either a Celeron or Core i3 CPU, up to 8GB of RAM, up to 128GB of storage, a 720p HD webcam, 2 USB-C ports, a microSD card reader, headphone jack, stylus support but not included, stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 6, and 2-in-1 form factor. All of this within a hefty 2.71lb body.
It does come in another color option outside of Fiesta Red as well w/ Mercury Gray. The new Chromebook is due out sometime during the 1st quarter of 2021. It will start w/ $550 for the Celeron/4GB RAM/64GB storage option & $700 for the Core i3/8GB RAM/128GB storage option.
