So we’re only 2 months into 2021, there’s already rumblings on some of the new tricks the new iPhone will have to offer. This new bit of news is courtesy Everything Apple Pro & Max Weinbach as per the video posted above.
The main feature will be the added long-awaited arrival of a 120Hz ProMotion refresh display from the iPad Pro. Yay!!! This will utilize new LTPO technology to also give the iPhone 13 Pro an always-on display panel as well. Apple’s AOD will offer very little customization w/ just the Clock + Battery always being visible. Notifications will be seen using a bar & icons as the entire screen won’t light up. Similar to how Apple uses AOD on the Apple Watch.
Along w/ that, we’re expecting to see a smaller notch for Face ID + front camera, stronger MagSafe magnets, upgraded ultra-wide cameras w/ better low-light performance, auto astrophotography, Galaxy S21-like portrait video mode, better matte black color option w/ better grip on the Pro models, and a possible in-display fingerprint reader.
So if this all comes to fruition, I will definitely be upgrading to the 13 Pro. If so, I’m actually glad I skipped out on the 12 Pro but we shall see. What’re your thoughts on this?
