So they gave us an M1 iMac, new Apple TV 4K, & AirTags.  So what’s next?  The new M1-powered iPad Pros from Apple.  

The 8-core M1 CPU will offer the Apple tablets a big jump in performance & GPU speeds as well as a new 16-core Apple Neural engine and an advanced image signal processor.  All while still maintaining the 10-hour battery on WI-Fi and 9-hours of celluar ones.  It also supports Thunderbolt 3 + USB4 + eSIM+ 5G mmW  connectivity up to 4Gbps.  

The cameras here got updated as well w/ its ISP + LIDAR scanner helps boost images in low-light, a new TrueDepth camera for FaceID, a 12MP ultrawide camera for video calls, and a new feature called Center Stage that follows you during a video call.  

You still will have the 2 size options of 11inch + 12.9inch sizes which can go up to 16GB of RAM & 2TB of storage.  You got USB-C charging + a 20W USB-C power adapter.  However, the 12.9inch iPad Pro will have a new Mini-LED screen dubbed Liquid Retina XDR.  It uses 10,000 Mini LEDs that grants you up to 1,000 nits of brightness on a 2732 x 2048 resolution display. 

The new iPad Pros will support the Apple Pencil, Smart Keyboard Folio, & the Magic Keyboard – as this arrives in a new White color option.  You even have support for PS5 + Xbox controllers as well.  

The 11inch iPad Pro starts at $799 (Wi-Fi) + $999 (Cellular) while the 12.9inch iPad Pro starts at $1,099 (Wi-Fi) + $1,299 (Cellular).  Pre-orders go live on April 30th w/ both models dropping during the 2nd half of May.
