So after cancelling I/O for last year due to the rising cases of Covid-19 running rampant, this year its back on. So Google I/O 2021 is happening this year as an virtual event that’s open to all happening on May 18th to the 20th.
Teased via their usual code which was solved by the folks over at 9to5Google, we got the date for it. Last year, we got the Pixel 4a but we’re expecting more Android 12 details, the Pixel 5a, and possibly the Pixel Buds A to go along w/ it. Not sure if there will be any other surprises to go along w/ it.
Registration is open now for all of those interested in attending w/o having to pay that $900 one would normally have to do attend along w/ flight & hotel. I got my official invite in my inbox but despite its being online, I’m still looking forward to it.
