I highly doubt that Google I/O 2021 will be in-person this year but pandemic be damned that the show will still happen. We’re expecting new hardware to come along w/ it as well. The Pixel 5a is rumored to arrive but we now have another device reported to arrive w/ the Pixel Buds A.
This bit of news was spotted by the folks over at 9to5Google in the form of an email showcasing Google Products. The image within it shows off an Olive Green Pixel Buds that isn’t a current color option to choose from. Outside of that, the only thing missing is the 2nd LED on the inside of the charging case.
There was a product approved by the FCC which would point towards these. And w/ this being an extension of their A line, this would be at a lower price point. The current-gen Pixel Buds retails for $179 so one can only assume that these would come in at around $99 or $129.
Hopefully w/ the Pixel Buds A, they don’t ship w/ the connection issues the current models had at launch and afterwards. If they did,would you pick these up?
