Yesterday, the folks over at WarnerMedia laid out the groundwork of all that come w/ that new $10 ad-supported tier of HBO Max.  The premier streaming service costs $15 monthly normally as this new plan that’s $5 less will come w/ some limitations.

So along w/ the ads, you’ll have to deal w/ no access to their same-day movie premieres.  So that means you’ll have to wait a few months to see same-day premieres like The Suicide Squad, the new Conjuring film, the Space Jam sequel, the Dune remake, the Sopranos prequel, and the 4th Matrix installment.

HBO claims to make the ads to be lighter than on other ad-supported streaming services but they will still be present nonetheless.  But other than that, you’ll still have access to the same library of content that HBO Max has to offer – which is quite vast.

So for those of you who wanted a cheaper option for HBO Max, it will become available during the 1st week of June.  And that’s less than 2 weeks away so it will be there before you know it.
