Among the many announcements today that were previously leaked, Google’s updated Pixel Stand is one of them. So w/ a new & redesigned Pixel smartphone, we got a new & redesigned Pixel Stand wireless charger as well.
The 2nd-generation Pixel Stand will offer speeds of up to 23W for compatible Pixel smartphones & up to 15W speeds for other Qi-enabled devices. So w/ those faster speeds, Google included a built-in fan that supposed to be on the quieter side of things. It will retain the portrait mode layout to keep up w/ notifications as well as control your smart home products + Nest devices w/o having to take your phone off of it.
And last but not least, it is made of over 39% of recycled products to continue Google’s eco-friendly initiative. The pricing matches the rumored one of $79 but unfortunately don’t have a release date at this time. Its marked as coming soon on the Google Store site.
