Continuing on the CES train, we got new phones from TCL w/ the TCL 30 V 5G & 30 XE 5G split into 2 devices for 2 different carriers: T-Mobile & Verizon. So kicking things off w/ Verizon’s 30 V, it has a 6.7inch 1080p 60Hz display, powered by a Snapdragon 480 5G CPU, 4GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, Android 11, a 4500 mAh battery, and a triple rear camera w/ a 50MP main sensor, 5MP ultrawide, 2MP macro, and a 16MP selfie. The 30 V will be a Verizon exclusive armed w/ sub-6GHz + mmWave 5G support. The 30 V 5G will be exclusive to Verizon, with sub-6GHz and mmWave 5G connectivity.
And for the next one, we got the entry-level TCL 30 XE coming w/ a 6.5inch 90Hz 720p display, powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 CPU, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, microSD support, face unlock, running Android 11, a 4500 mAh battery, and a triple rear camera setup w/ a 13MP main sensor, depth, & macro sensors, and a 8MP selfie camera.
Now we don’t have exact pricing or availability as of yet. But TCL says they will be arriving in coming weeks. With the 30 XE being the entry-level one, expect the 30 V model for VZW to cost more than the other.
