TCL also surprised us w/ a new entry-level laptop to enter the space. Meet the TCL Book 14 Go: their $349 14inch budget Windows laptop. Not this one is all about the value & not really the performance so don’t expect top-notch specs here.
So the Book 14 Go will offer a 14.1inch display w/ 1366 x 768 resolution + 16:9 aspect ratio, ARM-based Snapdragon 7c CPU, 4GB of RAM + 128GB of storage, Adreno 618 GPU, SDXC card slot, stereo speakers, 1MP 720p webcam, 3.5mm headphone jack, USB-C port, can connect to 4G LTE networks, and a 40Wh 5300 mAh battery w/ suggested 10-12 battery life. All within a plastic body w/ a metal frame that weighs in around 2.8lbs.
Now this is made to compete against the likes of the Surface LE, Galaxy Book Go, & others like that. We don’t know when its coming but we can anticipate sometime this year at least.
