We got bad news for the gaming world – especially for my Nintendo Switch owners. If you were holding your breath *no pun intended* for the Legend of Zelda sequel, you’re gonna have to wait a little longer. The Breath of Wild sequel was originally set to arrive sometime this year but is now pushed back to Spring of 2023.
Game producer Eiji Aonuma announced an update for it today. They said they have decided to extend the development more is the prime reason for the change. They wanted to make sure the game’s experience is something special so the wait becomes a little bit longer.
Despite that, we know nothing about the much-anticipated sequel – even the actual name. I say its good for them to take their time w/ it. We don’t want another Cyberpunk situation happening here. Especially on a legacy game/character like Link.
You can see the announcement video above which does show off a small clip of the sequel. We see Link take out a very different-looking Master Sword. We’re all looking forward to it. I know I am.
