In some great gaming news to start off your week, Halo Infinite fans will enjoy this one. On late Friday, game developer 343 Industries announced that the long-awaited co-op campaign mode is coming finally has a target date.
They’re aiming for a late August launch for the standard co-op mode. The co-op mode will be only Xbox Live as for those of you awaiting for split-screen co-op mode will have to wait until sometime in November as it can still change as it is not set in stone.
They also discussed the arrival of their Forge mode as it will come as an open beta kicking off in September as well. They chose this approach so they can get core Forge tools to everyone quicker while working out the kinks. 343 says it will remain in open beta as it evolves & gets better until its ready for a full release.
Along w/ all of this other news, the 2nd multiplayer season kicks off on may 3rd for Halo Infinite. It will bring forth new maps + modes. It is interesting that they still decided to launch the game w/o co-op campaign & Forge mode at launch but they made it work.
So who’s looking forward to taking advantage of these long-awaited modes to Halo?
