While waiting on that Pixel 6A, Google gave us a tease of their 7th-gen flagship due out later this fall. This is the Pixel 7 series w/ the Pixel 7 and the Pixel 7 Pro.

This will be an overall moderate update to the Pixel 6 series inside + out. This will bring forth a next-gen Tensor CPU that will more than likely bring features to the mix as running Android 13. The most notable change so far is on the rear where the cameras are.

This retains the smaller camera bar from the recently-announced 6A but adds aluminum instead of having a black bar. You also will say goodbye to the 2-tone colors on the rear as well. You also see the same camera layout with a dual-camera setup for the 7 w/ a wide and ultra-wide and a triple camera setup for the 7 Pro w/ a wide, ultra-wide, and telephoto.

Outside of what we just mentioned, that’s all we got for the Pixel 7 series – for now. I’m sure it will be leaked to death well before we get closer to October for its official launch/unveiling.

Now do you grab the Pixel 6A or do you want a few more months and pay a little more for the Pixel 7 series? Decisions, decisions.
