Plaud is expanding its AI note-taking ecosystem with the launch of the NotePin S, its newest wearable accessory designed to capture conversations and ideas without pulling out your phone, at CES 2026. Alongside the hardware, Plaud is also debuting a new desktop app, aiming to make it easier to review, organize, and summarize notes across devices—signaling a bigger push toward always-on, AI-assisted productivity.
The Plaud NotePin S is an upgrade from the original NotePin. The S version adds an instant highlight button, similar to the one found in the company’s Note and Note Pro models, which marks moments that its AI deems important. In addition to the new physical button, the NotePin S retains the ability to be worn as a wristband, necklace, pin, or clip, just like its predecessor.
Also new is the Plaud Desktop app, which provides native recording and note-taking without the need for hardware or browser extensions. The app can detect when you’re on a video-calling app, such as Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or Zoom. It’s also powered by Plaud Intelligence, which keeps your recordings, transcripts, etc., in one central hub.
Both the Plaud Desktop app and the $179 NotePin S are available today.
