Kicking off the year and CES with actual mobile devices, Samsung unveils its new budget-focused A-line smartphone and tablet: the $200 Galaxy A17 5G and $250 Galaxy Tab A11+.
The A17 offers budget specs one would expect from Samsung’s A-line. It has a 6.7-inch 1080p 90Hz OLED display, powered by the same Exynos 1330 CPU from last year’s model, 4GB of RAM, 128GB of storage expandable up to 2 TB via microSD card, Android 16, an IP54-rated body, a fast-charging 5,000 mAh battery, a 13MP selfie camera, and a rear triple camera setup with a 50MP main, a 5MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro. The A17 also includes select Galaxy AI features, such as Gemini and Circle to Search software and security updates for up to six years.
While the Tab A11+ offers an 11-inch 90Hz LCD screen within a metal unibody IP52-rated body, powered by a MediaTek MT8775 chip, up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, which is also expandable up to 2TB via microSD card, running Android 16, quad speakers with Dolby Atmos, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a massive 7040 mAh battery, and a rear-facing 8MP shooter with a front-facing 5MP sensor.
You won’t have to wait long to pick them up either, as both devices go on sale next week, with the A17 dropping on January 7 and the Tab A11+ dropping on January 8.
